We recently hosted a Japanese Cultural Experience event for Grade 8 students from a local school ☺️A total of 80 students participated, and with volunteers included, we had over 100 people at the centre—making it a very lively and busy day!Students rotated through three interactive stations: • Shodo (Japanese calligraphy) • Okonomiyaki cooking • Traditional Japanese gamesDespite being a weekday morning—and our first time running this type of program—we were initially unsure how everything would come together. Thanks to the incredible support and teamwork of our volunteers, the event was a great success.Most importantly, the students had a fantastic time exploring Japanese culture, which made all the hard work worth it.It was definitely a lot of effort… but a very rewarding experience 😂A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible!Mami Japanese Calligraphy:Eishun-Sho Artworks ...
