Payment Policy and Recurring Payment Terms
This document outlines the general terms for all payments and provides specific details about recurring payment authorizations.
- General Payment Conditions You agree to pay all charges incurred in connection with your account, including taxes and fees. You represent and warrant that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method. You are responsible for keeping your payment information up-to-date. If your payment details change or expire, you must update them promptly to avoid interruption of service. We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. All payments are to be made in CAD.
- Consent to Automatic Charges By establishing a recurring membership or donation, you authorize Calgary Japanese Community Associations to automatically charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis for the agreed-upon membership or donation fee. You agree that Calgary Japanese Community Associations may automatically process your payments at the beginning of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly, annually) using the payment details you have provided. This authorization will remain in effect until you cancel your recurring membership or donation.
- Billing Cycle and Amount The recurring fee for your membership or donation is dependent on the products or services you are supporting. This amount is subject to change. We will notify you of any changes to the fee at least 30 days in advance.
- Cancellation Policy You can cancel your recurring membership or donation at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel before the next billing date. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the service or benefits for the remainder of the current billing period. Refunds will not be provided for any partial billing period.
- How to Cancel To cancel your recurring membership or donation, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your account on https://calgaryjca.com.
- Navigate to the Memberships and Donations and find the one you want to cancel.
- Follow the instructions to cancel.

- Failed Payments If a recurring payment fails for any reason, your membership or donation will be placed on hold. You will receive an email notification regarding the failed payment. Once the payment issue is resolved and a successful payment is made, your membership or donation will be automatically reactivated.
- Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these recurring payment terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued support after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
