Thank you!
On behalf of the Calgary Japanese Festival Committee – Hontou ni Domo Arigatou Gozaimasu,
Your volunteer spirit is what allows the Calgary Japanese Festival/Omatsuri to exist. Without all the volunteers that worked so hard together there just can’t be an Omatsuri. So it is with heart-felt gratitude that I humbly ask each of you to accept my deepest thanks.
No matter how you helped out, you were incredibly important in bringing the Festival to life!
I hope for 2 things for everyone:
- Is that you had a great time making this Festival a reality.
- That you consider joining the Calgary Japanese Community Association (you don’t have to be Japanese to belong to the CJCA) and that you will be connected to the Japanese community and learn about the programs put on by the CJCA.
Looking back on this year’s Japanese Omatsuri Festival, we saw loads of folks with a smile on their faces enjoying a taste of Japanese culture. For us that’s the greatest success. If you have any suggestions to help make the Festival better, or comments you would like to share with us, please reach out and let us know. Thank you again for all your hard work and support – hope to see you all next year!
